RJ45  Connector  is  connected  to  UTP  cable  That is used  is  Used  to connect  hub  and  NIC  An  RJ45 Connector  is  Usually  called  Crimp  and  the  act  of installing  a  Crimp  to  the  end  of  a  piece  of  UTP cable  is  Called  Crimping  .All  the  UTP  cable  must be  wired  in  such  a  way  that  pins 1 and 2 Are on one  twisted  pair  and  pins 3 and 6 are  on a second pair  Electronics  industries Associations/Telecommunications industry Association  (EIA/TIAT568A  and  T568B  are the common  Wiring  Standards  Wich  meet  this requirement  .Only  the  Second  and  third  pairs  of T568A  and  T568B  are  used.  the  .T568B  scheme  is the  most  popular  .The EIA/TIA T568A  and  T568B wiring  standards

To Crimp CAT5 Network cable / patch cable of unshielded twisted pair as per T568B wiring standard

Take the CAT5  cable that you want to crimp with the required length of the cable.

Remove one inch of the outer jacket from the  cable using a cable stripper or with the help of RJ45 crimping tool

Along with the Wires ,most UTP cables have a polyester fiber bundled with it. These Fibers should be removed before the connectors are attached. The fiber should be clipped off and each strand of the wire should be checked to make sure that no cuts exist

The four twisted pairs of wires should be separated and then each pair of wires should be untwisted

According to the chosen wiring plan (cross-over or straight through) ,the wires should be arranged in the correct order .This way the arranged wires can be help between the thumb and the index finger of one one hand while the other hand can be used to arrange them .Once the wires are arranged , they should be check again to see if they are in the correct order..

The wires should be trimmed so that they extend 5/8 inch from the end of the cable jacket .This Trimming is done using a sharp wire cutter . The cutter blade should be kept perpendicular to the cable so that the trimmed wires are of the same length

Note :- The Wires should best short to crimp onto the insulation for strength.

The Wires should remain in the correct order (straight through or Cross over) .This is Done by placing the connector over the wires .Each wire should extend as far as possible into the connector

Note :- The color scheme should not be disrupted

The connector should be inserted carefully into the crimping tool.Care should be taken that none of the wires are pulled out of the connector. To attach the connector, the crimper should be squeezed firmly .Squeeze the crimper again to establish a good connection

Repeat steps 1-8 for the other end

Use optional test equipment to test the Wire .For patch cable ,test the wire between working computer and hub.For crossover cable, test the wire between switches..

Thank You :)
